Spaces: Sacred and Profane

The Open Archives tour is a chance to see behind the scenes at a number of archives and unique collecting agencies in Cambridge. In 2013 we are featuring twelve archives over five days with a special "Ask an Archivist" program on the last day.

Tour One

June 17 5:00-8:00

The Cambridge Room of the Public Library
The Cambridge Public Works Department

There are three tours, they all start at 5:00 and all go until 7:30. Each tour will see all three locations, but each tour will start at a different place. To sign up, please pay through PayPal below, or send a check (made payable to the Cambridge Historical Society 159 Brattle Street 02138 with your email or phone number) and indicate that you would like to sign up for Tour One. Once you are registered, we will tell you where to meet your guide.

Tour Five

"Ask an archivist"

There are three tours of the Freemason collections, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00. To sign up, please pay through PayPal below, or send a check (made payable to the Cambridge Historical Society 159 Brattle Street 02138 with your email or phone number) and indicate that you would like to sign up for Tour Five and give your preference for tour time.

Anyone can attend the "Ask an archivist" program, just bring an item you would like advice on the care of to the Freemason's lodge between 3:00 and 6:00 (first come, first served).

$5 per person
